Research Summary
My broad research interest is on the environmental influences on population health. My PhD focused on the associations between food environments, dietary behaviours and related health outcomes and health inequalities. I have been looking at how to integrate environmental measures to better understand these health outcomes and their related behaviours. I am particularly exploring the relationship between individual health behaviours (i.e., food choice and consumption) and measurements of spatial accessibility to the related opportunities (i.e., food outlets). I am interested to explore other health outcomes that emerge from environmental determinants on health in various contexts.
