The workshop took place in the context of the University’s application for renewed membership of the School for Public Health Research (SPHR). SPHR@cam researchers wanted this application to be informed by the perspectives of members of the public. At the workshop, local residents and patients were invited to share their views on two central issues:
- How should SPHR@cam engage with members of the public in the future?
- Based on its work so far, what should the future priorities for SPHR@cam be, both in terms of research and translation of findings into policy and practice?
The workshop comprised a series of short presentations by researchers on the SPHR Ageing Well Programme, followed by group discussions.
